For those trained in Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP), the practice of rewiring our brain and implanting gratitude instead of negativity in our subconscious mind makes perfect sense. We are more inclined to believe that there is magic in our universe when we understand and obey the 7 universal laws by which everything under the sky is governed.

The magic that we experience becomes our inspiration because as we incorporate gratitude into our days, they will be nothing short of miraculous. This motivates us to increase the magic where or when we have a specific need, such as for health or money, or if we want to have a dream job, experience greater success at work, or improve a strained relationship.

In a previous post, I had written about the foot washing activity carried out during the island-wide Service Virus training that we conduct for our staff. When asked about their thoughts and feelings regarding the activity, the general response from course participants was that it took a bit of getting used to.

Washing the feet of others is not something we do every day and therefore, most people did not feel at all comfortable. While we may wash the feet of loved ones, most people would not voluntarily wash the feet of others unless required to do so. If you work in a spa or foot massage parlor, and your job requires you to give foot massages, it’s just part of your job and you simply get down to it. That had been the standard response.
